From the Head of School
Dear Lashon Families and Friends,
It is my absolute privilege to welcome you to our school. As a TK–8th grade charter school, we offer a unique, cohesive journey for our students, supporting them from their very first steps in transitional kindergarten all the way through their critical middle school years.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to prepare culturally diverse students to be self-directed learners and responsible global citizens. In an increasingly interconnected world, we believe education must go beyond the textbook. We challenge our students to think critically, embrace diverse perspectives, and understand their responsibility to the world around them.
We pride ourselves on being a vibrant tapestry of learners. Every child is celebrated for who they are, and we intentionally cultivate an environment where every culture, background, and learning style is valued. Our structure allows for strong, long-term relationships. Older students step into leadership roles as mentors, while our youngest learners benefit from a safe, nurturing, and familiar environment. From foundational literacy to global awareness, our academic programs inspire curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.
We know that a child’s success is built on a strong foundation of collaboration. The partnership between home and school is vital and we view parents and guardians as essential partners in the educational journey. When we work together—communicating openly and supporting one another—there is no limit to what our students can achieve.
Thank you for trusting us with your child’s education. Together, we are shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
Respectfully,
Jennifer Kaitz, Principal
